Meet The Faces Behind Popovich Productions
We’re Richard and Deborah Popovich, the proud owners of Popovich Productions. We look forward to sharing our story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know us better.
Music and entertainment have always been our passion and calling. In 1990, we began entertaining on the “Alberta Prairie Tourist Train” that runs out of Stettler, Alberta. Today we continue to be featured entertainment on that Award Winning tourist attraction.
We have recorded five albums and produced two television series in conjunction with Shaw Cable. In 2004, we created and produced the “Ultimate Staff Party,” held in many cities in Alberta, and sold over thirty thousand event tickets over a period of ten years. In 2006, we developed our six-acre home at Red Deer into an entertainment venue called “Popovich Patio Dinner Theatre.” People came from all over Alberta, and we enjoyed sold-out crowds for over 90% of the shows during our ten-year run.
We enjoy all aspects of entertaining and seeing people laugh and respond to our music, jokes, and nonsense. We consider it a blessing to be able to make a living doing what we love. We strive to exceed the expectation of our audience and give our best performance regardless of crowd size.

As individuals, our integrity and dependability have ensured we are always in demand. We attribute our success to our ability to engage audiences of all ages with an energetic and engaging delivery, clean humor, and memorable songs.
Every successful function and event has given us immense satisfaction over the years.
During our downtime
We enjoy downhill skiing, snowboarding, spending time with our family, and being outdoors when not at work.
